Soft and cozy without being too bulky. My daughter wanted new bedding and she loves cuddly soft but doesn't want a thick and bulky comforter. This set checked all the boxes. The grey is nice cool grey and the velour is soft as can be. The fluffy underside is a nice sherpa. She's had it on her bed for a couple of weeks now and it still looks great and washes well. I do really love this comforter. I was worried it would be too heavy and it’s not. It’s super soft and comfortable for sleeping. It’s really feminine and delicate looking. Very pretty. My reason for 4 stars is that immediately after taking it out of the packaging I notice a stain. Not super dark but there none-the-less and for a brand new piece, it shouldn’t have any stains period. I was a little disappointed with the packaging of this product. Normally, a comforter set comes in a nice clear plastic case with a handle. This was actually carelessly folded almost like a ball. Interesting. Ad states I would get comforter and 2 pillowcases. I received a set of sheets and european shams also. The sheets and shams were paper thin. I will not use those.
