I have very sensitive, dry skin and usually prefer bedding with a soft, silky feel so that my skin does not catch against the fabric. For that reason, this duvet cover is not my personal favorite. The material has a somewhat inexpensive feel and also tends to trap heat, which I do not like. However, it has washed very well, which was extremely important to me, and for the price it works perfectly well in my guest room. It is comfortable enough and does the job as an everyday duvet cover set. This is a great duvet cover! It fit my new 98x98 insert perfectly, and it’s so nice having a queen duvet cover that doesn’t feel undersized because it was meant to also work on a full bed. This cover washed well and dried well on the lowest heat setting, but it did need to be pulled out and rearranged over a couple cycles. Remove it asap to avoid wrinkles. It’s very soft and looks high quality. There are internal ties on all 4 corners, plus one on the center of each side. It’s what I expected! I bought in 2 different colors. I do not care about the wrinkles in it my kids are young and don’t care. It is very light weight and fluffy that’s all my kids wanted. I did wash them first before I put them on. There wasn’t a smell but you should always wash bedding before laying in it. I like the linen cotton blend which is 100% natural with no microfiber or polyester. The duvet cover is a very pretty wheat color with matching wooden buttons that really makes the set look really organic and beautiful. The duvet feels somewhat heavy on its own but that is just me because I use duvets without the inserts because I am a very hot sleeper even in the winter time. The duvet without the insert looks just fine for me and I'm hoping it's not too heavy but since I live in the north I think it'll be just right. I also feel that since my bed is a queen I would have liked this duvet to be a little bit larger for more of an overhang, I should have ordered a king size just for the extra overhang.. Really love this quilt. The colors were a bit darker than I expected with a lot of red but very pretty and great for the price. It is very lightweight which I like but if you are expecting a heavy quilt you may be disappointed. The batting is very thin. I have not washed it but the stitching is very close together which should keep the batting from shifting. Absolutely beautiful! This nine piece black and gold butterfly bedding with matching curtains is so pretty in person! Ive never had any bedspread or quilt with matching curtains and I gotta say I love it! The colors are very vibrant. The underside of the quilt is gray, some of the images in the ad show it to be white, but it is indeed gray. The set comes with 6 curtains panels two of them are the same matching black with the gold and gray butterflies, and four of them are the gray color. Ive provided multiple pictures showing the sheerness of these curtains as other reviewers have been disappointed thinking they were blackout curtains. These are NOT blackout curtains they are a beautiful sheer that still darkens the room but allows that morning sun in to get you up out of bed! One picture shows with them staggered and appearance. One picture shows with the black ones spread open covering the window. One picture shows the gray ones open and covering the window. One picture shows no curtains covering the window to give you an idea of the light and dark coming into our bedroom. The quilt is lightweight and provides just the right amount of warmth. It is summertime currently and I have a sheet, one additional blanket, and the quilt and it is the perfect warmth--not too hot. I am very pleased with this nine piece bedding set both in quality and in beauty. We have a California king bed and some of the other reviewers have noted they did not like that the pillowcase shams did not fit California King king pillows all pillow cases in all sets no matter what size bed you have will come as a standard queen size. To me it doesnt matter because they are just decorative pillows and my California King pillows fit perfectly behind them with the queen size pillow cases accenting the bedding.
