It's every bit as lovely as in the pictures. If you have pets, it will show every bit of dog or cat hair so just something to consider. This is a beautiful navy/dark blue; true to the pics. It's microfiber and very light weight but it sleeps warm. It's summer time as I'm writing this and a flat sheet with this is warm to me, even with A/C running. The fabric doesn't breathe like my down comforters so this would be a good winter comforter as well. If you sleep hot like I do, just keep that in mind. The embroidery looks beautiful on the end of the comforter and pillow shams. I'm very pleased with this! Just a word of caution if you sleep on the warm side so you aren't surprised. Like other reviews shared, it comes in a vacuum sealed, tiny box but it fluffs up well in the dryer. Came with nice dryer sheets just for this. Also comes with a bed skirt.
