Unfortunately, after I washed it for the first time before putting it on my bed, I noticed that there were four areas with loose threads where the stitching had come out, in two cases for long expanses. I really like how lightweight it is, and the fact that it’s reversible gives me a couple of different options without having to buy another set. It did have a pretty strong plastic or manufacturing smell when I first opened it, but thankfully that disappeared completely after one wash. My only real disappointment is that the colors aren’t quite as vibrant in person as they look in the photos. Beautiful Colors and Good Quality — My Only Deduction Is Personal Preference Overall, I really like the Bebejan Purple Lilies 100% Cotton Sateen Comforter Set. The colors are stunning — the main shade is a soft, neutral tone with just the right touch of deep purple or burgundy. It feels nicely made and looks even better in person. It’s heavier than what I personally prefer, but that’s just my taste, not a flaw in the comforter. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of my own preferences and lifestyle. If you have pets or a busy household, this set might be a little harder to keep in good shape. I bought the queen size, and even though it says it’s machine washable, I’m not sure I’d risk it — and realistically, it probably won’t fit in a standard washing machine anyway.
