The seersucker material is definitely unique from other sets I have had and really make it, but also means its not quite as soft as a brushed cotton; that is literally the only downside. It goes great with my bedroom set and fits a standard queen with plenty of room. The included shams with ties on the back are also a nice touch and make it a but different than others I have with zippers or flaps. We will see how the set holds up in the wash but initially seems like nice quality, medium-weight bedding that can withstand some wear; I also suspect it may get softer over time which would make me love this set even more!.
