It has a firm feel, which gives great support, but it’s still comfortable enough to sleep on all night without feeling stiff or sore. It strikes a perfect balance—not too hard, not too soft. The Evann 1012” medium firm mattress with cooling gel and pocket coils is very nice for the price. As mentioned in the other reviews it is somewhat bouncy but when you’re laying on it is supportive. We just ordered a 3” topper that made it even better. It was vacuum sealed for easy moving and we just used the included tool to get through the plastic wrap. Worked like a charm and was an appreciated addition. Make sure to use the tool and not scissors to unwrap to keep the mattress safe. We purchased the 12”. I would recommend. Donna. Wilmington, DE. I ordered the 14-inch King size hybrid mattress. The box was mutilated upon delivery and re-taped. However, the way the mattress was wrapped tightly in a thick plastic, the mattress was not disturbed. I will warn you this type of mattress being a hybrid, when you unseal the plastic, will fly abruptly open and I would highly recommend opening it up in the room you plan on setting it up, especially a king size. The first night wasnt good for me. Luckily, I gave it another night and I did so because the mattress really felt comfortable. I guess your body knows that something is different and I am a very light sleeper. After a week of sleeping on the mattress I am really pleased, so is my husband. We dont overheat as our last mattress was all foam and would retain heat amongst being a little too stiff. I will say that the material on the bottom of this mattress is not the same great quality as the rest. The mattress is nice. Just fits perfectly with our king size bed frame, also from wayfair. Without using a box frame the mattress with 14” inches height is just right.
