This mattress is nice, soft, and comfortable overall. However, for a mattress advertised as medium firm, it is definitely softer than I expected. As someone who suffers from chronic back pain, I was hoping for something with a little more firmness and support. While the softness may be perfect for someone who prefers a plush mattress, it doesn’t provide the level of support I personally need for my back. Overall, it’s a nice mattress, but I would recommend considering a firmer option if you have back issues or need additional support.. Jessica. Wed Oct 28 2026

I was previously unaware of the concept of a mattress in a box. Upon visiting the Wayfair store, I had the opportunity to examine the mattress, having seen it advertised online. We proceeded to order it through the website due to the complimentary delivery service. It subsequently arrived packaged within a box. ItIt was quite heavy, so you will require assistance from another person to move it to its intended location. We have unraveled it, and as less than 24 hours have passed since then, this is its current appearance. Therefore, I will likely wait another 24 hours before placing it on the bed to ensure it has reached its maximum fullness. However, considering the price, we are quite satisfied with the purchase so far, and I will likely provide a follow-up review later.. Sabrina. Atlanta, GA. Sat Sep 12 2026

I still can’t believe this mattress came in a box. It unfolded and reshaped itself instantly upon being opened. The box is very heavy so be prepared to have someone help you move it. The bed I am using this mattress on does not require a box spring, but when you sit on the edge of the bed the mattress is not firm or sturdy and kind of collapses under you. I’m unsure if it’s a design flaw of the bed or the mattress but it feels a little unsafe, like if I rolled over to the edge in the middle of the night I would surely fall off. I suspect it is due to the lack of firmness. The mattress is advertised as medium firm but I find it very soft, and I prefer firmer mattresses, so I docked a star for the lack of sturdiness at the edge which I think is also related to its lack of firmness. It is not flippable which does not bother me but might be a dealbreaker for others.. Elizabeth. Salem, MA. Mon Aug 31 2026

Looking for a mattress that balances comfort and support? It's definitely more firm than "medium firm." After sleeping on a futon that was equivalent to sleeping on a gravel road, this mattress may as well have fallen from heaven. It looks and feels well made. It fluffed up pretty quick too. I'm very happy with my purchase.. Megan. Ephrata, PA. Tue Sep 29 2026

Imagine sinking into cloud-like comfort every night, wrapped in a gentle cool touch that releases all body pressure. Our Hybrid Mattress is more than just a sleeping surface — it is your personal sanctuary built for deep, uninterrupted rest. Expertly constructed with premium durable materials, this mattress perfectly blends body-contouring memory foam and responsive pocket springs. It delivers targeted ergonomic support while maintaining ideal bounce, helping you wake up fully refreshed, energized, and ready for every day. Premium sleep is never a luxury, it is an essential daily need. This mattress brings consistent, hotel-grade rest to your bedroom, night after night.

The 12" Medium Hybrid Mattress with Cooling Gel Memory Foam has been a fantastic addition to our home. The mattress originally arrived with a damaged shipping box, causing FedEx to return it to the station, but Wayfair’s customer service was exceptional and immediately dispatched a replacement to ensure it arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Unboxing and setup require a specific strategy. When you first slide the compressed mattress out of the box and position it onto the frame, it will naturally lay upside down. I highly recommend using the nifty plastic-cutting tool included in the package to slice away the plastic wrap safely without damaging the fabric. The mattress expands rapidly to its full 12-inch profile. Once it reached its full size, I flipped it over to the correct side. Despite the substantial, heavy weight of the premium hybrid construction, the sturdy built-in side handles made it easy to maneuver and flip without straining. I strictly followed the manufacturer's instructions and allowed the mattress to fully decompress and air out for 72 hours before dressing it with a fitted sheet. I am the measure 3x and cit 1x kind of person. My initial impression is that the comfort profile leans a bit softer than a traditional true medium, but it offers an incredibly supportive, plush cradling sensation. I purchased this specifically for our guest room to accommodate my father during an extended stay. He reported that the sleep experience was absolutely wonderful, noting that he easily slept past his usual 8-hour routine and woke up feeling fully refreshed. Hearing that was music to my ears, and I highly recommend this mattress for anyone seeking an affordable, luxury-level sleep setup.. Nora. Miami Springs, FL. Mon Oct 05 2026

Really nice and heavy mattress. It will not slide around like cheap mattresses will. It’s a deep bed and seems very comfortable and support distributed evenly. It immediately opened and unrolled in to shape. Did not notice a chemical odor to it. This is for my grandson to be used on a nightly basis. A definite recommendation!. Donna. Conyers, GA.
