I was previously unaware of the concept of a mattress in a box. Upon visiting the Wayfair store, I had the opportunity to examine the mattress, having seen it advertised online. We proceeded to order it through the website due to the complimentary delivery service. It subsequently arrived packaged within a box. ItIt was quite heavy, so you will require assistance from another person to move it to its intended location. We have unraveled it, and as less than 24 hours have passed since then, this is its current appearance. Therefore, I will likely wait another 24 hours before placing it on the bed to ensure it has reached its maximum fullness. However, considering the price, we are quite satisfied with the purchase so far, and I will likely provide a follow-up review later.. Sabrina. Atlanta, GA. Sat Sep 12 2026

The mattress is comfortable enough and popped up to full-size within 24 hours. Unfortunately, that full-size is closer to 6 1/2 than the actual 8 inches that I ordered. I’m used to it on Grindr, but kind of disappointed with Wayfair. I ordered that size in particular because it would fill the gap on my new mattress frame and headboard that I also just bought so now I have an empty 2 inches that I have to stuff with pillows or buy a new extra large, extra firm bolster.. We got the 14" mattress. I love the 800+ individually wrapped springs, and the fact that it is fiberglass-free, and has CertiPUR-US foam, and OEKO-TEX certification. The mattress also feels really nice and supportive, but also very cushiony on sore joints. I do not think the " reinforced edge support" is anywhere near as supportive as the "integrated mattress edge support" our last mattress from Wayfair featured. The last one we had was the Wayfair Sleep Medium Hybrid Mattress, and you could sit on the side of that one without it sinking down more than just a tiny bit. I liked that feature a lot as it gives you a more stable surface to sit on to put on shoes, etc. Thankfully we have a bench at the end of our bed, because this mattress edge sinks down quite a bit on the edge. (And NO, I have not gained weight since we had the last one.) My husband and I both miss that extra structure at the edges of the old one, but this mattress does feel very nice. Overall we are happy with our purchase. I would have given it 5 stars if it had had the same edge support as the previous mattress. Update: It's now been 5 months that we have been sleeping on this mattress and it is sagging. I wish I'd never bought it. We rotate our mattress every 4 months. We are not obese people, and frankly even if we were, the mattress is supposed to support 880lbs, and my husband and I aren't even half that added together. Don't buy this mattress.... Sherri. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this for mattress for my teenage son's room. He was ready for a good mattress. Overall we are very happy with this one. He says it is very comfortable, gives great support and he likes that the mattress isn't firm but on the softer side. He is a tall boy so it seems to be holding up good for the past month that he has been sleeping on it. His only complaint is that he would of liked to feel the cooling gels more. This mattress is used when we have guest as well. My mom slept on it and she gave her stamp of approval. Believe me when I say that my Mom would let me know if she didn't like it. My dad has also slept on it a few times and he also likes it but would of liked a more firmer mattresses (he is strange). Overall it is a very good mattress. I don't find it firm at all so if that is what you are looking for move on but if you want a soft/comfy mattress this is the one for you.. Aztracy. Phoenix, AZ. Thu Oct 13 2022

This mattress has truly been a great lifesaver for our back pain. My husband has a herniated disc and requires a very firm mattress. This did take a full 48 hours to completely get to its firmness, so don’t be discouraged after it compresses on the first day. He reports that his back pain has improved greatly, and I would strongly suggest this bed for those experiencing spinal issues. I am also sleeping with my baby and follow the safe seven sleep method which requires a very firm mattress. This mattress falls into the guidelines for safe co sleeping, and I’m ecstatic to find one in a great price point. We highly recommend this mattress. Updated review. I unfortunately have to remove one star as as I was waiting for the bed to expand. I realize that it was not expanding lengthwise. There are about 3 to 4 inches missing off the top and or bottom of the mattress. I purchased my bedframe off of Wayfair and the measurements are for 18 size bed. However, the mattress is missing a significant portion at the end. I have uploaded a photo so you can see how much shorter the bed is than an average king size.. Misty. Peru, IN. Sun Jul 27 2025

Great mattress would buy another mattress from Wayfair. Love the product smoke service love everything about it.. Anonymous. Sat May 23 2026

Our mattress with medium-soft firmness is ideal for back, side, and combination sleepers. It features an all-foam construction that offers a soft, contouring surface while providing excellent support. The plush top layers are engineered to relieve pressure on muscles, joints, and pressure points, allowing your shoulders and hips to sink into the foam for a comfortable sleep while maintaining proper spinal alignment.

The bed is amazing. Extremely comfortable to sleep on. Does not disturb my partner when getting in and out of bed or changing positions during the night. It is extremely large and inflated all 12 inches. Couldn’t be happier. The bed frame is the SHA CERLIN velvet bed in queen from Amzn. Inflated in just a few short hours but gave it the full 72 just to get that last few mm out. Note The secret to getting all of the inches out of a foam mattress, especially in the corners, is to remove the foam from the mattress casing and let it rise without restrictions.. Abdul.
