This is our third try buying a new mattress and I think we’re going to stick with it. The top layer is comfortable. You do sink into the mattress a bit, but still feel supported. I was worried about sleeping hot but it doesn’t hold body heat as much as a previous memory foam mattress we owned. It’s a bit too soft for me. Kind of hard to turn over in bed. On the bright side, when my husband moves around in his sleep I can’t tell, unlike a mattress with springs.. Hannah. Zionsville, PA. Fri Oct 16 2026

The mattress is what I expected. It is firm and supportive mattress. The mattress has a softness at the very top that is just enough to be comfortable while remaining firm and supportive. I was looking for a mattress that would be good for a bad lower back and I have found this to have the firm and supportive construction I need with a little softness to remain a comfortable mattress for sleep. Highly recommend this mattress. I’m coming back 60 days later to write this review because I wanted to make sure I was correct. If you are looking for a cooling mattress, this is the one. No, it isn’t magically going to make your bed feel super chilly, but I have always needed it cold in my bedroom to sleep. I like it about 66°, My wife does not. I purchased the Helix Sunset Elite Queen size after having neck problems with my current posterpedic mattress, and my wife having back problems with our current one. We tried numerous different brands and types of mattresses, and this was the only one that satisfied both of us - I'm a side sleeper and am 6ft 170lbs, and my wife is a back sleeper that is 5'2" and 160lbs.
