Memory foam infused with activated charcoal, or ebonite memory foam, provides the benefits of traditional memory foam, such as pressure relief and conformance. But it also has more! When charcoal is infused, it forms a finer, more open-cell memory foam, providing a velvety feel and higher airflow, which means it is cooler. Activated charcoal also provides superior thermal absorption. The combination of higher airflow and heat absorption provides better overall temperature management. Charcoal is also a natural odor and bacteria eliminator. Simply put, activated charcoal keeps your mattress clean and fresh. It allows for greatly increased airflow and has excellent cooling benefits. Our bed is covered in a wonderfully soft, almost like a sweatshirt, heathered gray knit fabric. The stretchy knit enables you to feel the full effect of the activated charcoal. And it looks pretty cool too!

Its durable springs bring a winning combination of medium-firm support and soft, sink-in comfort to provide a premium sleep experience. Individually wrapped coils to minimize motion transfer to help you stay soundly asleep throughout the night.

I purchased this mattress for a teen bedroom, and overall it has been a solid choice. It arrived compressed, expanded well after opening, and was ready to use fairly quickly, which made setup easy. The medium feel is a nice balance between comfort and support. It has enough softness on top to feel comfortable, while still being supportive enough for everyday sleep. The hybrid construction also gives it a more substantial feel than I expected for the price. I also like that it sleeps fairly temperature-neutral. The cooling gel layer seems to help, especially compared to traditional memory foam mattresses that can trap heat. The reason I gave it 4 stars is that it was a little firmer than I initially expected, so it may take some time to break in depending on your preference. It’s still comfortable, just not as plush as some buyers might assume. Overall, I think this is a great value if you’re looking for an affordable, supportive mattress that is easy to set up and works well for a guest room, teen room, or everyday use.. Jas H. The Novilla 10''/12" medium hybrid of memory foam and coils is a mattress featuring premium memory foam for comfort and pressure relief that transitions into high-density foam for support. These foams are then paired with individually wrapped coils that help minimize motion transfer. Our coils are encased in an edge support foam for greater support around the perimeter. The combination of these foams and the individually wrapped coils makes for the perfect blend of comfort and support. Perfect night's sleep for kids, teens, and adults.
