These sheets took a few washes to soften up a bit but they are perfect. I prefer a lower thread count for a cooler sleep and these were excellent for that purpose. If you prefer the heavier feel of higher thread count sheets, you may be disappointed with these. The king size fitted sheet fits perfectly on my 14 king mattress and does not slip off.
