This robe is what I was looking for being lightweight and terry. When you first get it, make sure you wash it or else if feels like the paper robes from doctors office. After that its great. While I still enjoy a nice shower, I've grown to hate the process of drying myself after. I've thought for awhile that stepping into an absorbent/fully-body/terry-cloth robe might make a difference -- and thus far, it has! At 5'3"/180, I got the XL mid-calf, but it ran truer to length & I think I could have gone full-length & been able to also wipe the tops of my feet. But I'm delighted, esp with the spaciousness & plush/absorbent feel. It dried fairly quickly & still feels inviting. Have yet to wash it -- will see how it holds up then. For now, this senior thinks she's found the answer to why showering as I've aged has become more of a burden than one's of life's true pleasures.
