This does not seem like a towel at all, but rather a decorative cloth or table covering. These are very thin, and would make a great side table cloth. I have a picture of my ordinary kitchen towel as an example to compare how thin these towels are. I was very disappointed. They are indeed 20" x 36" in size. My former towels are 20" x 40" and very plush. So, I was hoping that these would/could be used similarly as a small bath towel.
