Great quality mattress, giving it four stars only because, while the title indicates firm, the description on the sight rates it right in the middle of plush and firm-exactly at medium, which is what I wanted. I was able to buy a topper and I actually love that I have the firm support for my lower back and a little squish on top for comfort. The mattress is very well made, no sagging off the side of the bed when sitting, it didn’t have much of a smell when unboxing, fully “inflated” and aired out for a few days as instructed before easily plopping it onto the Wayfair foundation I bought to match!. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As you can see, the room hasn't been updated in 10 + years including our mattress.. this has been an actual game changer!!!! It feels really nice, medium feel, i dont feel like i sink in but it also doesnt feel like a board. It almost curves to my body and I have been getting such a great night's sleep with this mattress!!! I am a plus size person and between me and my husband its well over 550+ pounds of weight but it has been working out for us. We've been using this mattress for almost 60 days and it feels the same as the first day we got it! Comfortable, doesnt sink for our weight and so far I love laying in bed without getting some type of soreness from sleeping "wrong". Its definitely the mattress you use that causes this.. in love with our new mattress!!!!. Anonymous. Mon Oct 12 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Decided to use this in our camper and was pleasantly surprised with how comfortable it is. I have a hard time with beds that my back can handle and after sleeping on this for a little over a week, I woke up with no back pain. I will say the only negative was it felt like you were sleeping in a hole with the middle being higher once slept on for this amount of time.. Anonymous. Tue Sep 22 2026

This mattress is exactly what I needed! I moved into a furnished apartment with a very soft mattress. One night on this firm mattress and my back already feels so much better. I slept like a rock. It was packaged very well, and it was easy to open. It was much heavier than I was expecting (who knew mattresses were heavy?) so keep in mind you might need some help. The instructions say to give it 24-72 hours to be fully expanded, but I slept on it a few hours after I opened it, and it was still great.. Samantha. Usaf Academy, CO. Sun Sep 20 2026

This bed is perfect! Needed to replace a full size bed for my daughter and this one is perfect. Delivery took just a few days and love how easy it is to open up the mattress and have it expand. I asked her how many stars we should give the mattress and she said “six thousand” - so she definitely believes her mattress is incredibly comfortable and a huge upgrade over her prior mattress. Would get it again.. Michael. Nashville, TN. Sun Sep 06 2026

Imagine sinking into cloud-like comfort every night, wrapped in a gentle cool touch that releases all body pressure. Our Hybrid Mattress is more than just a sleeping surface — it is your personal sanctuary built for deep, uninterrupted rest. Expertly constructed with premium durable materials, this mattress perfectly blends body-contouring memory foam and responsive pocket springs. It delivers targeted ergonomic support while maintaining ideal bounce, helping you wake up fully refreshed, energized, and ready for every day. Premium sleep is never a luxury, it is an essential daily need. This mattress brings consistent, hotel-grade rest to your bedroom, night after night.

The 12" Medium Hybrid Mattress with Cooling Gel Memory Foam has been a fantastic addition to our home. The mattress originally arrived with a damaged shipping box, causing FedEx to return it to the station, but Wayfair’s customer service was exceptional and immediately dispatched a replacement to ensure it arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Unboxing and setup require a specific strategy. When you first slide the compressed mattress out of the box and position it onto the frame, it will naturally lay upside down. I highly recommend using the nifty plastic-cutting tool included in the package to slice away the plastic wrap safely without damaging the fabric. The mattress expands rapidly to its full 12-inch profile. Once it reached its full size, I flipped it over to the correct side. Despite the substantial, heavy weight of the premium hybrid construction, the sturdy built-in side handles made it easy to maneuver and flip without straining. I strictly followed the manufacturer's instructions and allowed the mattress to fully decompress and air out for 72 hours before dressing it with a fitted sheet. I am the measure 3x and cit 1x kind of person. My initial impression is that the comfort profile leans a bit softer than a traditional true medium, but it offers an incredibly supportive, plush cradling sensation. I purchased this specifically for our guest room to accommodate my father during an extended stay. He reported that the sleep experience was absolutely wonderful, noting that he easily slept past his usual 8-hour routine and woke up feeling fully refreshed. Hearing that was music to my ears, and I highly recommend this mattress for anyone seeking an affordable, luxury-level sleep setup.. Nora. Miami Springs, FL. Mon Oct 05 2026

Gel-infused foam with open-cell technology promote maximum airflow, keeping you cool all night. I ordered the 14-inch King size hybrid mattress. The box was mutilated upon delivery and re-taped. However, the way the mattress was wrapped tightly in a thick plastic, the mattress was not disturbed. I will warn you this type of mattress being a hybrid, when you unseal the plastic, will fly abruptly open and I would highly recommend opening it up in the room you plan on setting it up, especially a king size. The first night wasnt good for me. Luckily, I gave it another night and I did so because the mattress really felt comfortable. I guess your body knows that something is different and I am a very light sleeper. After a week of sleeping on the mattress I am really pleased, so is my husband. We dont overheat as our last mattress was all foam and would retain heat amongst being a little too stiff. I will say that the material on the bottom of this mattress is not the same great quality as the rest. Even though you dont see it, it should have the same quality all over hence why I gave 4 stars, otherwise its perfect. The old mattress is out and this one will stay!. Michelle. PA. Thu Dec 04 2025

I absolutely love this mattress. Im actually getting a better nights sleep now. Its made really well and is a nice looking mattress. It didnt take long for it to rise up to the full 12 inches. I let it set overnight and I was sleeping on it the next night. Not too firm and not too soft. Only time will tell how well it holds up, but thats true for any mattress.. Debbie. CA. Fri Mar 20 2026

My old mattress started sagging in the middle, and I didn’t want the hassle of shopping in stores or waiting around for delivery, so I ordered a mattress in a box from Wayfair. I let it inflate for a full twenty four hours, and it’s incredibly comfortable. I love that it’s black too, since my kids often jump into bed with me and spill things, so it hides any stains. I added a waterproof topper, and that first night sleeping on it was completely comfortable. Wayfair for the win.. Sherease. El Paso, TX. Mon Aug 31 2026
