I was on the fence about mulberry silk pillowcases, wondering if they'd be too slippery or too hot. But, after cancer treatments, my hair got so fragile and frizzy that I gave in. Now I wish I'd gotten them sooner! These are an excellent quality and they wash beautifully. I use a mesh bag, enzyme-free detergent (regular laundry detergent for these will stiffen the fabric), and I set the washer on 'delicate/handwash.' Roll them flat in a towel to get out excess h2o and hang to dry. They're great for my super-delicate skin, and already my fragile hair looks sleeker. In the inside of the case there is a big piece sew at the pillow case opening in that you pull out and cover the end of the pillow! I can highly recommend the Lacoste Red color but not the grey that looks more like green. The Pillow cases and sheet are excellent quality. I was so happy to find a YouTube hack on removing wrinkles (without ironing) from 100 cotton sheets and pillow cases. Just sprits with water and stretch. Although I love these (see my duvet review below) no size was mentioned which made me think they were “standard,” yet they were king sized.
