This is a very cute comforter tho not as thick (warm) as I thought it would be. I wish there was a rating system to communicate the thickness of blankets but putting in on top of a down-alternative blanket did the trick for this very cold room. Very soft on top. A little more lightweight than I was expecting, but we use several blankets, so will work okay for us. Don’t expect that it will keep you warm on its own.
