I was previously unaware of the concept of a mattress in a box. Upon visiting the Wayfair store, I had the opportunity to examine the mattress, having seen it advertised online. We proceeded to order it through the website due to the complimentary delivery service. It subsequently arrived packaged within a box. ItIt was quite heavy, so you will require assistance from another person to move it to its intended location. We have unraveled it, and as less than 24 hours have passed since then, this is its current appearance. Therefore, I will likely wait another 24 hours before placing it on the bed to ensure it has reached its maximum fullness. However, considering the price, we are quite satisfied with the purchase so far, and I will likely provide a follow-up review later.. Sabrina. Atlanta, GA. Sat Sep 12 2026

The mattress is comfortable enough and popped up to full-size within 24 hours. Unfortunately, that full-size is closer to 6 1/2 than the actual 8 inches that I ordered. I’m used to it on Grindr, but kind of disappointed with Wayfair. I ordered that size in particular because it would fill the gap on my new mattress frame and headboard that I also just bought so now I have an empty 2 inches that I have to stuff with pillows or buy a new extra large, extra firm bolster.. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this for mattress for my teenage son's room. He was ready for a good mattress. Overall we are very happy with this one. He says it is very comfortable, gives great support and he likes that the mattress isn't firm but on the softer side. He is a tall boy so it seems to be holding up good for the past month that he has been sleeping on it. His only complaint is that he would of liked to feel the cooling gels more. This mattress is used when we have guest as well. My mom slept on it and she gave her stamp of approval. Believe me when I say that my Mom would let me know if she didn't like it. My dad has also slept on it a few times and he also likes it but would of liked a more firmer mattresses (he is strange). Overall it is a very good mattress. I don't find it firm at all so if that is what you are looking for move on but if you want a soft/comfy mattress this is the one for you.. Aztracy. Phoenix, AZ. Thu Oct 13 2022

This mattress is perfect! It’s comfortable and perfect for a trundle bed or bunk beds. I fall asleep there while waiting for my daughter to fall asleep. I highly recommend! Sits perfectly and the thickness is just right which is the 8inch! It’s the perfect size and thickness and the mattress is medium fin. Feels like a hug! Very cozy!. Anonymous. Fri Jun 26 2026

Meet the Black classic Mattress — your upgrade to cooler, smarter sleep. We’ve built it with graphene and copper to beat the heat and keep you comfy all night. No more sweating or flipping pillows. Just the right support, whether you’re a back, side, or stomach sleeper. It’s the bed that adapts to you.

I’ve been using this 14-inch medium firm memory foam mattress for a few weeks, and it’s been a great upgrade. It has a nice balance of softness and support, so I sleep comfortably whether I’m on my back or side. The mattress expanded quickly after unboxing, and there was only a slight smell that disappeared within a day. I wake up feeling more rested, and it doesn’t seem to transfer much motion when someone else moves during the night.. Amy. Columbus, OH. Fri Aug 07 2026
