For the price I expected it to be better. It's well made and the material quality is nice, which is why I'm rating it as average, but it's simply not comfortable. It's firm to the point of being too firm. There's hardly any cushion between you and the springs, even with the topper, and you can feel them when you move around. Fortunately my mom let me switch it out with the twin mattress in her spare bedroom otherwise I would have had to have gone through the hassle of returning it.
