There's so much to love about this lightweight quilt set...it is a beautiful design and the color of the body is beautiful. It is very soft and would be perfect for most nights in the south. HOWEVER, the color of the trim and the backs of the shams is not as shown in the photos on the online listing! It is a VIBRANT yellow that clashes with the warm gold (with a hint of burnt orange) of the pattern on the quilt. I left it on my bed for a day and evening, trying to accept the clash of colors. This is nice lightweight quilt, probably best for Spring or early fall, but for a cold night you want want an extra layer. The color is more terra cotta than orange, almost a dusty pink color, and the material is a bit stiff. It’s polyester, and feels like polyester. Absolutely beautiful and well made. Likely will need laundered at a laundromat. I have a queen and it’s a little larger than my other queen comforters. This comforter could be used year round.
