The colors are nicely muted, but there is a sheen to the fabric that is a bit much. It's not a pleasant satin-like look, but more of a fishing line? I wouldn’t call this a comforter, but more of a fleece blanket. The colors are very vibrant, and it’s very soft, so I’m using it as a decorative coverlet on top of a white comforter for added color pops.
