I was looking for a light weight down and this fit the bill. It was for a guest bedroom. Everyone sleep’s different, some cold and some hot. Now that it is summer I’ve folded and placed at the base of the bed to be pulled up if the air conditioning gets too cold. I love this comforter!!! I wanted to be sure I got one that was RDS certified with a 100% cotton exterior, which this is. I ended up picking this because some of the reviews mentioned it being crisp and even slightly noisy. Some people don't like that, but I love that. I find that blankets that are 100% quiet are usually microfiber or other polyester. True cotton and natural materials tend to have a little more noise. Absolutely crisp.
