With the amount of hours we sleep (or should sleep) each night, it should be a crime to have a flat sheet-like comforter. Our Thicker Than Thick Coma Inducer consists of 1200 GSM of thick, pure goodness. Overly thick filling combined with cozy soft plush creates a deep sleep experience like no other. If you are thinking of getting this, stop thinking about it and get it. I let it sit in my cart for days because I questioned the quality. The quality is 10+, the items is quality material, quality color, if you like heavy bedding this is for you, very heavy but very soft and plush. Inspired by our customers. Our most common request over the past few years has been to create a cloud-like comforter that is overly thick, fluffy, and yet not super hot. It's been quite the conundrum. The idea of something that's the thickest, yet somehow is still lightweight and not hot is like asking for a bedroom to be dark while keeping on a light. How can you take two things that are opposite and still create the desired request? After much time and effort we think we did it!! Look At This Thicky Coma Inducer® is the best of both worlds, the ultimate combination of the thickest comforter that is fluffy cozy yet doesn't overheat. With an exterior outer material similar to our Cool It Boi, a 180 GSM nylon / spandex blend, you'll have a super silky soft hand feel that's very cooling to the touch. Now, if we left it at that, it would be just another top-of-the-line cooling comforter for summer, however we heard your requests! We took this cooling plush material and paired it with our best-of-the-best down alternative, cloud-like fluffy filling. We created a 'standard' 800 GSM filled version that can be compared to our Thicker Than Thick Coma Inducer filling which, as the name suggests, is pretty thick! While the thickness of this cooling comforter is above average, it would be considered standard next to our new world record, 1600 GSM filled version, which we politely named Extra Thicky. Made with a microfiber cooling material that's infused with nylon, this breathable soft to the touch Coma Inducer is ideal for those who prefer a cooler material as compared to our faux fur plush. Our Melange Chunky Bunny Coma Inducer simply takes that already beloved Chunky Bunny material, that feeling of soft, overly plump bunnies that make you want to hold and caress them against your skin, and tweaks the visual appearance of the material using the technique known as melange. What is melange? According to Google:The word 'Mélange' has French origins and translates to "mix” which accurately describes the visual appearance of mélange fabric. Mélange yarn is produced by weaving a mixture of raw and dyed fibers together to create a unique two-tone color effect and an abstract textured pattern.We digress... the point is that at Coma Inducer we love pushing the boundaries of our oversized comforters. For our Melange Chunky Bunny Coma Inducer we utilized a 750 GSM cozy plush top material (Chunky Bunny) and we did it in the ever so pleasing to the eye Melange look. At Coma Inducer, we've been known for having oversized plush comforters. We've broken the barriers on softness levels, size levels (160" x 160"!), and now thickness levels!! To give you some perspective, the typical Coma Inducer has a 280 GSM fill rate and most, if not all, other Coma Inducers are under 400 GSM. So when we add an extra 1000 GSM in fill weight, you know this is thick! What makes this Coma Inducer even more impressive is that we didn't use just any filling. We used Grade A polyester, with a blown in technique to create a down alternative feel. Each square is like an over-filled squishy plush stuffed animal. We then coupled this thick high quality filling with an outer ultra cozy plush that has a hand feel like petting the fluffiest cloud or a cuddly dog that had one too many meals. And that takes us circle to the real naming inspiration which originated 3 years ago from a dog video that became an internet meme. Emily Flowers, a Coma Inducer super fan, won the naming challenge for this Thickest of Thick Coma Inducers with her name suggestion; Boi He Thick. There were a lot of "normal" sounding names suggested, but when put to a vote, customers agreed that for a Coma Inducer this special, it needed a name that was equally as attention grabbing... Boi He Thick!

Inspired by our customers. Our most common request over the past few years has been to create a cloud-like comforter that is overly thick, fluffy, and yet not super hot. It's been quite the conundrum. The idea of something that's the thickest, yet somehow is still lightweight and not hot is like asking for a bedroom to be dark while keeping on a light. How can you take two things that are opposite and still create the desired request? After much time and effort we think we did it!! Look At This Thicky Coma Inducer is the best of both worlds, the ultimate combination of the thickest comforter that is fluffy cozy yet doesn't overheat. With an exterior outer material similar to our Cool It Boi, a 180 GSM nylon / spandex blend, you'll have a super silky soft hand feel that's very cooling to the touch. Now, if we left it at that, it would be just another top-of-the-line cooling comforter for summer, however we heard your requests! We took this cooling plush material and paired it with our best-of-the-best down alternative, cloud-like fluffy filling. We created a 'standard' 800 GSM filled version that can be compared to our Thicker Than Thick Coma Inducer filling which, as the name suggests, is pretty thick! While the thickness of this cooling comforter is above average, it would be considered standard next to our new world record, 1600 GSM filled version, which we politely named Extra Thicky. We say politely because 1600 GSM is absolutely, 100% unheard of for a thickness level. It doesn't exist, at least, it didn't until we made it a reality. It's truly insane, but you challenged us and here at Coma Inducer, we tend to go next level when challenged!! Whether you opt for the Standard or the Extra Thicky, it is safe to say Look At This Thicky Coma Inducer accomplishes the goal of mixing the worlds of coolness and thickness to create a truly one-of-a-kind sleep experience. Side Note: The name Look At This Thicky was created by 9-year-old, Bailee Reece. The sample was in our Downtown Nashville, TN store and Bailee, so shocked by the sheer thickness and size, blurted out "Look At This Thicky" and proceeded to do a dance while singing the words "Look At This Thicky".... after that moment, this Coma Inducer would forever be named Look At This Thicky.

I love this comforter. The yellow is actually a nice subtle yellow and not "mustard." I shouldn't give it 4 stars d/t the fact that it takes 2 people to make the bed and the insides are actually two free floating pieces of poly that continuously need someone to climb inside to adjust them, but as the name implies, I do fall into a coma under it and find it hard to leave bed in the am because it is so very comfy..
