Exactly what I was looking for. After going through a number of familiar stores looking for a French quilt and not finding really any. The Chezmoi collection had a few I really liked. The colors are great some vivid some faded. The stitching is neat and beautiful. I bought the King for my Queen bed because I like it to reach closer to the floor. The comforter looks like the photo. It is very pretty. It is a little thinner than I thought it would be. I did wash it before using, gentle cycle. Some reviews said that it fell apart after washing, it did NOT do that, it was just fine. The material is not soft though. It is a little “crispy” feeling, but that may soften up in time. Nice quilt but when I put it in the dryer to fluff as directed, the pillow shams frayed badly. Luckily I didn’t plan to use them, but if I had I’d be really disappointed. We have a queen that needed a new comforter, but ordered a king because I always hate when it’s too short and the king size fits perfect for the queen bed.
