This mattress is exactly what I needed! I moved into a furnished apartment with a very soft mattress. One night on this firm mattress and my back already feels so much better. I slept like a rock. It was packaged very well, and it was easy to open. It was much heavier than I was expecting (who knew mattresses were heavy?) so keep in mind you might need some help. The instructions say to give it 24-72 hours to be fully expanded, but I slept on it a few hours after I opened it, and it was still great.. Samantha. Usaf Academy, CO. Sun Sep 20 2026

I was reluctant to purchase a mattress online because I've always tested out options in store. The reviews were very helpful but ultimately what convinced me was the double sided use. I do prefer the softer white side of the mattress and can see the benefit of switching to the firmer side after years of use. After a week on the mattress I am SO glad I made the purchase. Wow!! Keep in mind that Ive only slept on this 14 inch Avenco medium firm mattress one night!! I LOVE IT!! I woke a few times for the bathroom, and my body didnt hurt from the mattress!! I felt good! I did let it sit unused for a little over 24 hours and it was perfectly ready to use as far as I can tell. The Edges are firm and when I turn over, it is so easy to get comfortable! There is absolutely no odor coming from the mattress and my queen size deep pocket sheets fit this baby like a glove. It also fits my queen size frame side to side exactly, but there are a couple of inches between the bottom of the mattress and the end of the bed frame. I think this is normal. It is definitely medium firm. Again, I couldnt ask for more. I really, really recommend it!!. Patsy. Lampasas, Texas. Tue Oct 06 2026

I purchased this mattress for my granddaughter's trundle bed. The mattress is firm and the quality is wonderful. She loves the mattress. I love that it fits the trundle perfectly. The upper mattress is the same mattress. I would definitely recommend. Andrea. Grover, NC. Sun Oct 05 2025

Nice structure so far and no chemical smell as other reviews have indicated. Forms nicely after unpacking. Slept great on it and it cushions nicely for me as I am a stomach and side sleeper.. Valerie. San Diego, CA. Thu Dec 12 2024
