It does what it should. No plastic odor, inflated faster than I expected (deflated easily and quickly too), and for the price, being able to use the inflated with my paddleboard is a big bonus. Because I have an SUV, my biggest concern is that this is quite thick so it is difficult to climb into the back seat of a vehicle that is already tall, with the need to use the door jamb to step in, but limited headroom to get on to the mattress and crab walk my head to the far end of thr back seat. And Im only 55. The textured top material also made the crawl harder. As far as the inner dip where the backs of the seats and the base of the seats join, this mattress does nothing to balance out the difference. You are still going to get sucked into the back of the bench seat. I think this is better for a sedan, and if I were to do it again, would buy an inflatable mattress for the back of the SUV. Exact Replacement: This is an exact replacement air valve for an mattress. No Need to Replace the Entire Bladder. Over time, air pump valves can become worn out and lose the ability to hold air. Replacing the old worn-out valve is an economical decision that will prevent you from having to replace the entire air bladder/mattress. What Is Included: This listing is for 1 Replacement Air Valve. The Pump and Air Bladder are not included. Easy, economical repair for a leaking air valve. Original manufacturer's replacement part specifically for Mattresses which features an external pump. This is the air valve only - Mattress, Bladder, and Pump are not included. Instructions are included. Open deflation valve by lifting up on valve tab. Remove old valve by lifting the black plastic on the outer edge of the valve toward the center. The valve will then lift off. Now you are ready to install the replacement valve. To install your new valve, first open the replacement. Once open, seat the hinge area on to the hinge support, then squeeze the vinyl towards the center of the mattress opening. Simply feed the vinyl through the opening of the new valve. Once this has been accomplished make sure there are no bulges in the vinyl. Use your thumb to make sure that it is smooth. Next, lock your replacement shut and you are back in business. Softening the vinyl with a hair dryer before removing and installing the valve can make the process easier. Just what we needed to update our Innomax fluid support bed to an Adjust-a-rest air bed! We LOVE it! It works great for King sleepers who use the middle of the bed unlike the old air number mattresses. The product does take several hours to set up and you must have a compatible bed, but it apparently fits the standard softside with 4"x6" foam rails.)
