I do not like all these pleats close to where I snuggle. I make the bed with the pleats on the bottom! It is not genuine Egyptian cotton, which has a label with a cotton plant inside a triangle. Yes, they are expensive and worth every penny! I'm not sure WHY the title has the word "Sateen" in the description. These are the same SUPERIOR brand sheets I have purchased for 12-15 years and they are 100% Egyptian Cotton and sturdy not thin like many of sateen sheets are.
