• Our machine-washable rug isn’t meant to be washed as frequently as you would your clothes. You will only really need to machine wash it every 4-6 months, especially if you regularly vacuum and spot-treat everyday small stains. If you do have pets or kids, I would advise that you wash them more frequently. For smaller stains and spills: - Mix lukewarm water and soap, and apply this to the affected area Test a smaller area first to make sure your mixture works Blot dry the area and keep repeating as necessary For deeper cleans: Use a front-loading washing machine Add a mild amount of soap or non-bleach detergent to the mix Wash with cold water on the gentle cycle Please don’t use top-load machines as they will damage your rug Theoretically, if washed 1x a year and foot traffic are low, your rug can have a lifespan of 30 years! For drying and vacuuming: Air dry your washed rug flat or, Set the front-load dryer to low on tumble dry (Cotton tends to shrink in the heat and we don’t want that to happen to yours)
