The old saying goes “You get what you pay” did not apply with comforter set. The comforter is very soft and has the perfect thickness, which is usually found in more expensive sets. It hangs perfectly on my guest room queen size bed. I did not prewash, I did however run it through a sanitizing cycle in my clothes dyer. I would definitely purchase again.
