Organic Cotton Pillowcase (Set of 2)

Features

• Why Organic Sleeps Better: Our renewable bedding delivers a luxurious finish and a breathable membrane. It also wicks away moisture better than any synthetic material. Our Organic Cotton Pillowcases use GOTS-certified organic cotton. It's not just a higher-functioning material. Conventional cotton is a polluted crop. And organic cotton is held to a stricter standard. Ours is ethically grown in India without pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers.
• Luxury Thread Count: The “thread count” is the number of threads woven together in one square inch of fabric. These numbers are often inflated. Most sheets are multi-ply, which means threads are layered and twisted to gain a higher count for marketing purposes while compromising the sheet’s quality. Our Organic Cotton Pillowcases are a true 400 thread count single-ply made of extra-long-staple organic cotton, so they are finer and softer.
• Responsibly Made: Made with a manufacturing process that reduces water and electricity consumption, our Organic Cotton Sheets are pre-washed and processed to maintain a neutral pH level providing a safe touch to the skin. We’ve also worked to reduce the amount of wasted fabric during production. The effort is part of the broader environmental mission, like our Farm to Mattress concept, that drives Avocado.
• Transparency & Provenance: Our cotton is purchased directly from family growers to ensure traceability. We believe in getting to know the farmers and experiencing the farms where the cotton is grown. Each bale of cotton arrives at our cotton mill for processing with a unique number, allowing complete traceability from the farm to the final production process. This process uses the latest technology to create the world's most efficient, productive cotton spinning system — essential to producing the finest quality yarns.
• Made Safe Certified: Sleep with complete peace of mind knowing our pillowcases are MADE SAFE Certified — a rigorous scientific screening process that only allows the use of ingredients that are not known or suspected to harm human health, animals, aquatic life, or ecosystems. Plus, our cotton has received STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX: Class 1 certification (15.HIN.75800, Hohenstein HTTI) and MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX [M1YLMM698 Hohenstein HTTI]. That means an independent laboratory verified this product was tested for harmful substances and produced sustainably according to the OEKO-TEX standards.
