I ordered this toy box in the green color. It’s more of a sage green, and not as vibrant as the green advertised. In some lighting, it even looks gray. At first, I thought I had been sent the wrong color. Customer service was very responsive and helpful, and sent another to correct the color issue, however the new box is the exact same color. The box was easy to assemble and seems sturdy. It holds a decent amount of toys for the size! It had a weird, slightly unpleasant smell for the first week or so but it seems to have disappeared!. Smaller than what I was expecting but it’s perfect! Our son is 13 months old and his toys are adding up so we finally decided to get him a toy chest. He loves it so much and now tries to climb all over it. The lid is strong so he can’t get into it unless we open it for him which is nice. The arm inside the holds the lid is also nice because it keeps the lid from closing. You have to close the lid yourself which means no pinched hands or fingers. The bench is the perfect size for my son to sit on with his feet dangling a little. This allows for plenty of time for him to grow with it. The box and all the parts are very sturdy and it was easy to put together. I believe it took me about 10 minutes altogether to put the chest together and that’s without an electric hand tool. The toy chest is amazing and very beautiful. However, it was delivered severely damaged and broken because of it being shipped by FedEx. A piece of furniture that is worth over $2500 should not be shipped via FedEx and be shipped using a shipping company that will take care of it being delivered without being damaged. I had to re-order the toy chest and hopefully the next one will come undamaged. I have video of the FedEx delivery driver dropping the cardboard box while bringing it up to my front door.. Steven.
