LG 36" Smart Induction Cooktop with UltraHeat, 5.0kW Element, Black Ceramic

Features

• Because induction uses electromagnetic energy to heat only your induction-compatible cookware, and not the cooktop itself, fire hazards and risk of burns are reduced for a safer experience. And since the cooktop remains cool, drips and splatters won’t burn onto the surface, allowing for easier cleanup.
• Our uniquely designed induction cooktops offer exceptional power, precision, and responsiveness for fast, efficient, and even cooking. Induction uses electromagnetic energy to directly heat your cookware—and only your cookware, making it 5-10% more energy-efficient than radiant electric and about 3 times more efficient than gas. The cooktop remains cooler, making it safer and easier to clean. Plus, our red LED indicator bars display the power level of each element for easy monitoring.

• Conveniently expand your cooking area by combining the two left elements into one continuous cooking zone, allowing you to evenly heat longer pans, griddles, and oblong cookware.
• Five induction cooktop elements of varying sizes and power levels provide all the power and precision you need.
• How well your cookware heats on an induction element depends on several factors, such as the cookware's size, material, and shape of its base. Our cooktop is equipped with a built-in Cookware Compatibility Indicator, which rates cookware and element compatibility on a scale from 0 to 10, to help you optimize the power output and performance of each element and maximize energy efficiency.
• Each cooking element features a red LED bar that displays its current power level—allowing you to quickly and easily monitor the cooktop.
• The backlit LED SmoothTouch glass controls deliver sleek style, high-definition-visibility and easy operation, with just a touch of your finger. The controls appear hidden when off, for a minimalistic, low-profile look. Plus, the smooth surface easily wipes clean for a design that is as practical as it is stylish.
• Need extra cooking power? Activate Boost mode to maximize an element's power output for up to 6 minutes. Ideal for quickly boiling large pots of water or heating large quantities of food.
• Products that earn the ENERGY STAR label meet strict energy-efficiency specifications set by the U.S. EPA, helping you save energy and money while protecting our climate by making choices that count for a clean energy future.
• For a seamless cooking experience, sync with your smart LG Hood or Over-the-Range Microwave via the ThinQ app. This feature automatically activates the Hood or Microwave's fan and light when the cooktop burners are in use and deactivates them when the burners are turned off.
• Control Lock is a safety feature that allows you to disable most control panel functions, preventing accidental activation of the cooktop and providing a worry-free experience.
