Originally, I was enticed by a special offer on a model similar with stainless steel interior, which is what I wanted. Then GE took that price away after I slept on it. Then I ordered this one not realizing it was plastic inside. Be careful when ordering appliances and if you see a price you like, grab it! Do not sleep on it or you may lose out. For that, I am angry. .Then came the delivery kerfuffle. I was not communicated with a proper delivery date and was surprised by a call stating they'd be here in 15 minutes! When I did get the dishwasher, the instructions were only fair. The toughest part of installing myself was getting it into position properly. I didn't get very good assistance from the GE delivery company and was not impressed with Wayfair's help when I first realized I could not get the one I wanted. All in all, however, this dishwasher performs very well and has the safety auto-shutoff I was looking for since I've had bad luck with prior dishwashers, especially Bosch!. Ron. Toms River, NJ. Works wonderful—actually just installed a new built-in dishwasher from Wayfair inside my cabinet permanently—And gifted this portable one to my 79 yr old cousin who has never had a dishwasher and she is just thrilled with it. (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We went from having no dishwasher to using this GE one and it feels like such a big lifestyle upgrade for us. It fits way more than we expected and we can load full dinner sets with bigger pots and pans without having to play Tetris. The rack layout makes it easier to organize everything and nothing tips over or shifts around. Performance has been solid everytime even with heavier meals, the dishes come out spotless. The auto open dry feature actually makes a difference too since everything comes out dry and ready to put away. It also runs really quiet which I love! It is well built with a stainless steel interior but unfortunately the outside seems like it can but scratched up so be careful! Although it isn’t a big deal to us since it’s just cosmetic. I’ve tried all the modes and buttons all the different washes and I can honestly say this is a great dishwasher.. but it’s not perfect. Let’s start with my I love.. it’s quiet.. it’s powerful.. a one hour wash is in most cases sufficient and I love that it opens at the end of the wash, so the steam comes out and the dishes dry nicely. What I don’t like is the interior organization and the way door closes. The interior racks are not spaced out properly for maximum loading.
