The Honeywell 18 inch dishwasher is compact in size allowing for more cabinet space in the kitchen. The racks are suitable to fit 14 place settings of dishes. There are 2 racks with a removable cutlery basket. There are 6 washing programs to choose from- pots & pans, normal wash, china, quick wash, rinse only, and energy saver. The tub is made of stainless steel for better efficiency performance. This uses low energy consumption according to Energy Star standards. I love everything about this dishwasher. It has more features than I thought I needed, but I've used all of them. Initially I was frustrated the racks weren't configured the same as my old LG, but I figured them out, they do fold down, so all is right with the world. I can fill it up the way I'm used to. I hope they hold up, they seem thinner gauge than my previous quad wash. Dishes and glasses come out shiny and dry. Crazy how much cleaner, steam for the win. As for noise, the only time you hear it, is when it's filling up, otherwise it's quiet. It has a light. Yes, a light! I love the light! Really nice feature none of us ever knew we needed. The light is inside the tub, and there is soft white light that shines on the floor to let you know it's running and when it's completed its cycle. The top rack is actually useful — the stepped design fits my kids’ Stanley bottle lids flat, which I didn’t even think about but makes a big difference. It’s got a bunch of features with some nice color accents that make it feel kind of high-tech without being over the top. Love this product, the interior lights are a stroke of genus! Good value. Sadly one of the 2 interior lights went out. Possible design flaw: the cap for rinse aid dispenser fell off & melted against the heating element. THAT was scary. Why isn't it just a turn to open instead?
