I wish that I could give this 4.5 stars. My only gripe is that you have 5 seconds to select the cycle and shut the door or the cycle won't start. It's very annoying to me but perhaps not to anyone else. Clearly the designers think it's perfectly fine. This machine cleans your dishes exceptionally well so I will forgive the user experience annoyance. I only wish I would have purchased the taller tub version because I had the room. - Dishwasher arrived unboxed, badly dented up beyond repair, and the inside smelled like mildew - Dishwasher racks - tines are too close together to fit larger pieces of cooking equipment. Moreover the depth of the rack is nearly 2 inches smaller that the rack of my 10yr old GE dishwasher. - The perimeter seal on the dishwasher was partially torn. Not sure if this was damage from shipping, or if it's an inferior quality seal -The control pad is dated and flimsy, lacking a quality feel given the price tag of this unit. -With a price tag of 1000.00 consider a Bosch or Kitchen Aid instead. - only one online customer review of a blomberg dishwasher and it stated it was unreliable and finding anyone to service it was nearly impossible - did not install the unit to see how well it performed because it was so badly damaged. We waited to install the dishwasher due to remodeling the kitchen. When we were ready the install was so easy. No hardwiring necessary comes wired with plug.
