Yoga has been the greatest gift to the world which has been embraced by all around the globe. Sage Patanjali is popularly known as the ‘Father of Modern Yoga’, although he didn’t invent yoga, it was already there, he just assimilated its various forms into a well defined system now known as Yoga Sutras. He is regarded as an incarnation of Lord Vishnu’s Adi Shesha (symbol of awareness), the holy serpent on which Vishnu reclines in Yoga Nidra. This brass statue depicts Maharishi Patanjali settled on a lotus plate kept on a circular pedestal supported by three stylishly carved legs.
