This nursery armchair has been wonderful! Baby is 3 months old and weve spent countless hours in this chair. Its very comfortable and has no signs of wear. My only complaint is that it is very difficult to push down the bottom part out of the reclined position. This is a solid, and pretty glider with a gliding foot stool. The stool is completely together and you just lift it out of the box. The parts are listed and marked and the directions are in picture form. I am 76 yo and have neuropathy in my hands but I put it together by myself in about an hour. (I dropped a screw about 20 times!). There are just six screws to put the back onto the gliding seat and then arms must be attached in like manner to the seat as well. There are 2 longer screws with nuts that attach the arms to the back...the nut must be pushed up into one hole and the screw put thru another hole and screwed through the nut held up into the other hole. If you can get a helper for this step, you will be glad!! (I just didn't have anyone to call! But I am stubborn!) Tie on the back and the seat cushion and snap the arm covers over the wooden arms and presto....a great chair! Comfortable and glides easily back and forth. Absolutely quiet mechanism. I love it.. I shopped for a long time at multiple retailers looking for a chair with all the features. This one has a seat wide enough for my dog to sit with me, swivels, and has a cup holder. I was looking for all these features plus a light gray tweed fabric and built in automated controls. As it turned out, this one having a corded remote turned out to be fortunate as the remote did not work and the vendor had to send a replacement. Had it been built in and not worked the whole chair would have had to be boxed up and returned for an exchange. I am not sure I could have done that without help due to the weight. The replacement remote took 14 days by FedEx which was unimaginable but this was not Wayfair's fault. Not sure how well the furry white fabric will hold up, but it is pretty.. Margaret. Ive had this rocker for nine months and I LOVE IT!!! I have spent countless hours here with our baby, and it is incredibly comfortable. It has two pockets on either side, which I love for keeping some of his bedtime story books in. The color is a perfect light colorneutral that will go with anything. I was initially worried I might not like having something so light in case of stains. That has not been a problem at all. Stains have come out easily with a little warm water and stain remover. The armchair is spectacular it looks elegant in the room and is very comfortable for nursing your baby. Personally, I loved it. However, I did have an issue the delivery wasnt the best. The box arrived heavily damaged—to the point where the back of the right armrest was affected—and there was a hole in it, which was disappointing. When I reported this, customer service processed my claim immediately. The manufacturer is in contact with me to reach the best resolution so far, they’ve offered a 15 refund, but I dont consider that fair since I paid the full price for the chair. I’ll update my review later to let you know what the final resolution is.
