I love everything about this dishwasher. It has more features than I thought I needed, but I've used all of them. Initially I was frustrated the racks weren't configured the same as my old LG, but I figured them out, they do fold down, so all is right with the world. I can fill it up the way I'm used to. I hope they hold up, they seem thinner gauge than my previous quad wash. Dishes and glasses come out shiny and dry. Crazy how much cleaner, steam for the win. As for noise, the only time you hear it, is when it's filling up, otherwise it's quiet. It has a light. Yes, a light! I love the light! Really nice feature none of us ever knew we needed. The light is inside the tub, and there is soft white light that shines on the floor to let you know it's running and when it's completed its cycle. The top rack is actually useful — the stepped design fits my kids’ Stanley bottle lids flat, which I didn’t even think about but makes a big difference. Also love that it cracks the door open at the end and runs a fan — way less water sitting in Tupperware now. Little things, but they add up. It’s got a bunch of features with some nice color accents that make it feel kind of high-tech without being over the top. The GE Cafe looks great in my kitchen matching the white color of my cabinets and the bronze handle matches my other appliance's handles and the hardware on my cabinets. The dishwasher is very quiet, and does an exceptional job in cleaning my dishes. When the dishwasher completes the wash, the dishes are dry, and the plastic containers are dry and not warped like they were in my old dishwasher. The third upper rack is great for the knives, kitchen utensils and spoon rests. The individual jets for glasses, bottles and mugs is a real winner for cleaning high protein liquids that most dishwashers cannot clean.
