In Kenyan, it is called the wedding sculpture; the two loops stand for the two individuals joined as one, yet still two individual people. The sculpture is masterfully carved from one piece of soapstone. Due to the nature of the natural stone, each piece is unique and the color will vary (some stone has more pink or grey tones).
