Rated well by Consumer Reports, and good at the price (top of the line ovens run $3k, moderate ovens run about $2k... This one was $1.5k). Easy controls, bakes well. Sealed lower element , convection included. Easy to clean inside with a wipe down. And it was white exterior which I wanted to match the rest of my kitchen. How did I not know I needed this? Those slide out racks are amazing! The convection makes getting cookies done quick for the grandkids a breeze. I absolutely love this oven. I’m a little less than 5’ tall so an oven that could fit where I could reach it was pretty essential. To go with the short stature, I have short arms. We really like the way it cooks salmon fillets using the Speed Cook technology -- a combination of upper halogen element, the lower element, convection and microwave. Pretty amazing. The nice exterior design looks good in our kitchen, right above a conventional Cafe wall oven. We purchased this oven to replace our previous (almost identical) 240V Advantium Custom Speed Cook oven. We appreciate most of the subtle display firmware/software improvements in the new VS1 design compared with the older NS1 model, which we replaced due to odd rebooting every few weeks. We loved the older model (other than the reboots) and appreciate the new one even more, except for the relatively loud alert sound when we open the door to check the temperature of something we are cooking. Bought this 2 months ago, we did a total reno in the kitchen, always wanted a wall oven combination with Microwave Convection. Still learning to use it. Nice to have the combination when you have a big family dinner to be able to use the microwave as a convection oven. We notice the convection feature, on the wall oven cooks food faster, which we like, and roasts food to perfection, in less time.
