Developed for bearings in aerospace engineering, the high-performance Cronidur 30 steel boasts impressive toughness and corrosion resistance that is 100 times higher than standard steel. Combined with ZWILLING's signature ice-hardening technique, this Friodur blade is exceptionally sharp and durable. Each knife is precision-forged with ZWILLING's Sigmaforce process, resulting in a remarkably sturdy, balanced, and flexible blade. This object adds beauty to your surroundings. It is substantial and functional as well. The combination is oddly satisfying. My only criticism is that it is too short to accommodate my Sakai Takayuki 210mm Usuba nor my Miyabi 9.5 inch chef's knife - the latter being a Zwilling product.
