Very simple, yet makes a farmhouse statement. If you are looking for a light that’s ‘perfect’ it may not be your choice. I personally love it! There are a few imperfections on the glass and it’s hard to get the bulb aligned perfectly straight through the glass. Lighting is soft. It is in a sitting area in our home. I was looking for a farmhouse, rustic appearance = and I got it. It is black, screws to ceiling are brass , screws to attach glove are silver < not sure why the variation on that.. Kristin. Nj Us.
