Italian style bookcase with glass doors and metal feet
For the price I paid ($2,069 at the time) I was expecting a real quality piece. It was nice-looking but a few elements made it look quite cheap. For starters, the drawers did not open smoothly, although it did have a soft-close feature. The legs were a shiny brass that didn’t match the muted-gold handles. But worse was that the glass was glued to the door frames in a way that was fully visible—it resembled a project that a child might make in a woodworking class, which was certainly unexpected for such an expensive piece. I’d say it looked like a $300-$500 piece of furniture, so unfortunately we had to return it. However, Wayfair made the return process perfectly simple and smooth, which was appreciated.. Rachel.
