The table is ideal for tight spaces. The shelves & the drawer provide ample area for phones (which can be charged using the USB ports at the back of the table) or a small lamp (which can be plugged into the outlet at the back of the table). The directions for building the unit were good except for not mentioning which way the side panels should be attached (holes for camlocks facing up or down) by looking ahead to the instructions for attaching the top, I was able to determine that but it would have saved time for that to have been noted!. Glad I waited for this one to exist! Many years ago, I had a kitchen cart and when we had our countertops redone, I had a piece of the granite cut for that particular cart. As the years went on, we replaced the cart with another piece of kitchen furniture and put the piece of granite away. After some renovation to our house, we realized we had room again for a kitchen cart but now my tastes were a little bit more sophisticated and I wanted something that was really beautiful and that would match the aesthetics of the kitchen. It took a while to find this one because I needed two things, this cart had to be very sturdy in order to withstand the weight of the piece of granite, and it needed to be of a size that the granite would overhang, but only a little bit. I am so pleased to say that sometimes I just a glance to admire this cart and how beautiful it is. In preparing this review, I just was reminded that it has drawers! Maybe I’ll use them now that I found them. They open up quite far, which is actually very very nice. The shelves are great, although we haven’t used them yet. I found this very easy to put together and of course I did remove the top that it comes with to place my piece of granite on top. But the original top is very nice and I’ve certainly kept it in case we or somebody else could make good use of it. I highly recommend this cart.. Kathleen. West Chester, PA. Sat Feb 07 2026
