Nice solid surface. Seems very durable, but the legs prevent more than 2 chairs. 2 chairs total. The end cap doesnt have enough overhang to tuck in without banging your knees (for reference Im 510). Wife and I tried to tuck in on the same side and found ourselves slightly pushed out in banging elbows. We bought 4 chairs identical to the photo (also on Wayfair), only one fits on each long side because of the legs. Looking at the photo its now obvious the set designer couldnt tuck in the chairs either. Also, directions arent great. There are screws not listed ( make sure you use the chrome screws on the inside llsupport bar - the chrome screws are shorter)! It’s really nice for the price, but smaller than expected. It looks like solid wood, but the dimensions provided were false. The unextended length is 47 in and with extension only 59in. I expected 59- 70in. I ended up keeping it cause It looks good in my small room and it would be too much hassle to return it. Also the price was pretty good. It came the next day I ordered it..
