We didnt think we liked this rug at first due to the grays looking more purple-y than expected, but its actually a beautiful rug. I ordered this rug for my bedroom. I was looking for a rug with a taupe color and some grey. When this rug came i was very nervous about whether I would have to return it because the rug was a little heavy and I thought it would be difficult to return. I accidentally opened the plastic in the middle. The plastic says to slide if off from the end in case you have to reuse the plastic to return it. At first I thought I did not like the color because from the edges it appeared to be pure grey, (I did not want a grey rug), however as I unrolled the rug, I saw that it has hints of the taupe/beige color and cream that picks up the other colors in the floor. You can see the other colors better in person. The rug matched very nicely in my room. My cat and dog immediately voted their approval and laid down on the rug. The rug is soft and adds a very nice level of comfort to the room making the room feel cozier. I did not have to order a rug pad. I am very happy with my purchase. Well see how it wears over time..
