This is a beautiful rug and looks great in the space!! At 37" wide, this was the only 9' long runner we could find that was wide enough (most top out at 27" wide) and the color is just as pictured online. I would change the product description though, because the overall impression of the color is definitely gray, not beige/brown. The background is light cream with medium and light gray designs, just a very slight touch of some beige. It is thin but not flimsy, it flattened out immediately and does not move, (even with no pad under it), when my elderly mom rolls over it with her walker! It has a soft, velvety feel.
