First, there were really no directions, just a sheet with parts numbered on a drawing. We aren’t electricians doing this each day. Took hours of emails, googling and calls to get it right. Evening out the two cords was also tricky as they are stiff and will take time to relax. There soooo much excess cord that has to fit inside the housing it was tough to shut it fully closed. Wish the housing hardware at the top was black like the shade outside or gold like the liner inside. Will spray paint it this summer. Not ready to dismantle it again. It looks beautiful over the island. Nice clean lines, light weight. Works on a dimmer and is great looking light against the gold shade . Shipped quickly, packed well and price was reasonable.
