I waited too long to pull the plug on obtaining good knives. I'll have one more to buy, the next size up from this one so I don't have to use the chef knife or this knife for cutting a large apple. They are great to handle, very sharp, and obviously well made. Glad I didn't keep waiting. My other knife was cheap and old and I couldn't sharpen it anymore. Very happy, but also now really paying attention because it is extremely sharp. I cut a lot of raw ginger and sometimes the knife would slip. I don't want that with this one. Alway happy with Wostof knives was gifted one 25 yrs ago I still have it. Works too not as sharp but still cuts bought another one from WS. 15 yrs ago great quality..so now I have a full set from wayfair. As I always do I remind myself knives are extremely sharp and you will lose a finger if not careful while cutting tomato. I promptly slice my finger open. EVERY TIME! new knives no exceptions.. this time it was my third finger down . Everyone thinks I’m flipping them the finger now I use magnets to hold my knives easily accessible. Abbella.
