I mainly bought this because I like how you can transition it into two separate full sized beds and they look great. Only need one bed right now so the other is stored under with the trundle. My only wish was that this version had storage drawers instead of a trundle, but I’ve made it work. Delivery was fast and online time. No damage to the boxes or bed! I absolutely love the quality. Looks great, feels great, and it was fairly easy to put together. The instructions may not be the best for someone that’s not really handy. It took me about 6 hours to include bringing in the boxes, opening them all and tearing them all down, tying up the boxes. and then assembling the bed. This is very sturdy and well-built. It took my husband about 3 hours to assemble it himself (he is very into this kind of thing so it might take others a little longer). I only had to help lift the top bunk onto the pegs, but otherwise it was a solo job. There's plenty of room on the bottom bunk for my kid to sit up and when my other kid wiggles up top, it's not super squeaky or wobbly for the bottom kid. I am really really impressed with this bunk bed. I read TONS of reviews and scoured the Internet and really glad I decided to buy this. I have a picky husband who despises poor quality (more than most people) so I knew he’d be reviewing each and every piece with a critical eye. Even he is a big fan of these beds!!! Very well made, all the holes lined up, not a scratch to be seen. My girls LOVE it and were so happy. We went with a 9 inch mattress on top. This isn’t the cheapest bunk bed on the market...but it’s worth every penny. It’s a very safe and well made construction. FYI...this shipped in 10+ boxes...large boxes. My husband put together by himself. He changed up the directions and put together the bottom first, then the frame of the top, and then the top slats, just FYI. I only helped carry the boxes upstairs. And we opened all the boxes first and got all the hardware pieces and directions together before starting.
