This planter is beautiful and looks to be very well made and durable. I suspect it will last through several Chicago winters. I wish I had known that there is no "bottom" to the container - as we intend to use it on a rooftop deck. This planter is meant to be placed over soil. I also wish they would provide a way to section off the lower part of the planter, so that not so much soil needs to be used. We have found other workarounds for this issue, but it has been more involved than I had hoped.. Cynthia. Richmond, VA. Mon Aug 04 2025
